Our hotels are very conveniently located from both the airport and many prime natural and historical sites of the island. We are located in the southwest of Sri Lanka, in Wadduwa city. The distance to Colombo is 29 km and to Bandaranaike International Airport – 57 km. 

If your goal is to see the beauty of Ceylon without spending too much time travelling between attractions, visiting us is the right choice.

Our staff speaks English, German and Russian. We will be very happy to learn some new words in your language 🙂

Dhammika Beach Palace – a Beachfront Hotel in Wadduwa

Dhammika Beach Palace Hotel offers spectacular views to the vast Indian Ocean. The hotel was built in 2022, it is perfectly located beachront and just 700 m away from Wadduwa city centre.

There are 9 spacious rooms in our hotel, equipped with A/C, ceiling fans, fridges, stylish bathrooms with hot water. Free wifi is provided in each room. 

Dhammika Magic Palace – a Quiet Hotel in Wadduwa

Dhammika Magic Palace Hotel is an ideal place for those who prefer to enjoy quietness and relax in natural surroundings. Hotel is located about 1,5 km away from the city center and about 2 km from Wadduwa beach. 

The hotel was built in 2016. There are 9 rooms in our boutique hotel, so quietness, comfort, privacy and personal approach to every guest are guaranteed. Our spacious and comfortable rooms are  equipped with A/C, ceiling fans, fridges, stylish bathrooms with hot water. Free wifi is provided in each room. You will like our large garden and the open terrace on the 3^rd floor offering beautiful views. Hotel guests can use free of charge during daytime Gym located on the first floor and relax in our  Outdoor Pool.

Our Family & Seafood Restaurant offers both European and Sri Lankan food. You can choose between vegetarian, classical English or Sri Lankan breakfast, just let us know your choice the day before.

Climate in Waduwa 

Wadduwa is a resort on the South-West coast of Sri Lanka. It is said that in the past Wadduwa area was famous for a large number local doctors. The name „veda doova” meaning the land of the native doctors later transferred into the city name – Wadduwa.

The city charms tourists with pristine beauty of nature, it is famous for its golden sands and pure ocean water. Wadduwa is perfect for lazy beach holidays as well as for active recreation, such as windsurfing. You will like walking along the coastline fringed with tall coconut palm trees. 

Climate in Wadduwa is always comfortable at any time of the day and in any season! However be advised that monsoon brings rain to our region between May and June. In the afternoon the air temperature is 30-32 degrees centigrade. And when you go into the water, you will feel no difference with the air. There is no big difference between the temperature at nighttime and at daytime. Period of acclimatization is maximum  two days, even for those who came to  Sri Lanka for the first time. Very soon your body will get used to this climate and starts to enjoy warmth and sun.

Welcome Speech of the Owner

Hello dear friends! My name is Dhammika. In Sri Lanka I have earned the nickname Sri Lankan Jackie Chan. I took part in more than 150 movies as an Actor and a Stunt Director and also became a famous singer as a leader of the musical group “Rythemstar”, we have recorded fourteen songs, three of them have become hits.

Nowadays I still continue to participate as a singer and actor in festivals, events and TV-shows,  but my main activity  is related to tourism. I’m an experienced tour guide in Sri Lanka. I will be happy to show you the real treasures of the country, if you put your trust to go to the mysteries of the sacred stories.

If you go to the tour with me, you will be guaranteed: interesting company, safety, possibility to see Sri Lanka “from inside”.

I can show you some places that are usually hidden to most  tourists, because local people know me and will be happy to open for me and my guests the doors that are closed for other tourists.

My long-cherished dream came true in 2016 – I opened my own hotel Dhammika Magic Palace. And in 2022 I opened another hotel Dhammika Beach Palace. Now I am pleased to offer my guests not only interesting excursions, but also comfortable stay in one of my two hotels.
