Beachfront Hotel in Sri Lanka
Dear friends, welcome to Sri Lanka, to the authentic resort Wadduwa-city, to relax on the Indian Ocean in our mini-hotel Dhammika Beach Palace!
Dhammika Beach Palace is a 3-storey beachfront villa, just a few steps from the the Indian Ocean. The beach in front of the hotel is calm, never crowded with tourists, with a gentle sandy entry into the water and no rip currents.
Opened in 2022, our hotel offers the guests 9 spacious, air-conditioned rooms. The hotel grounds are gated, compact, and green, with a tropical garden. Sun loungers and umbrellas are set up in the garden area.
There are a restaurant, a massage studio, a swimming pool and a kids’ pool in the hotel. Wi-fi is available both in the rooms and in the garden.
Rooms face the ocean and are arranged in such a way that they do not share balconies or walls with each other, giving you privacy.
In the evening you can watch the sunset from the second floor open terrace.
Services available include Ayurvedic massage, yoga classes, surfing lessons, currency exchange, transfers and various tours around Sri Lanka, both to popular locations as well as visits to authentic places.

This is my second time staying at this hotel; I loved the seaside location, the cosy rooms, the restaurant with its sea view, and the Ayurvedic massage. At breakfast we tried exotic ripe fruits, and at lunch soups – the tastiest I’ve ever had.

Step inside your room and you’re transported into a dreamscape. A stunning view of the ocean unfolds before your eyes, framed by the unique silhouette of palm trees; the colours of the scene shift as the sun moves across the sky. The ocean boasts an endless coastline, a smooth entry into the water and a very clean seabed.
The perfect place if you fancy a bit of a break. The hotel is small and cosy, and the staff are attentive and friendly. If you fancy seeing something other than the ocean, they’ll show you all the best bits on organised excursions.
My childhood dream of living by the warm ocean has come true. Coconut palms, iguanas, squirrel monkeys and silence—just the sound of the ocean, which is so soothing to fall asleep to. A clean, deserted beach, easy access to the ocean and no rip currents. There are shops and a small market nearby. The hotel grounds are small but cosy and green.
A lovely swimming pool and spacious rooms. Huge respect to Angelica and Dammika for organising the excursions. Excellent breakfasts and even coffee, which is a rarity in this country.
A small, cosy hotel, offering comfort on a par with European standards. It’s located in a very picturesque spot, far from the hustle and bustle, right on the ocean shore.
It has its own green area with sun loungers, hammocks, umbrellas, a clean swimming pool and showers.
We visited in October and absolutely nice place that exceeded all our expectations. Glamorous location with cozy and comfort. Very friendly service. Had a great time, truly made my stay unforgettable.

It’s lovely to sit with friends in the evening and watch the sunset. The excursions are well organised and suitable for all ages.
A wonderful, cosy hotel on the shores of the Indian Ocean, just a stone’s throw from a spacious sandy beach. On my friend’s recommendation, we went on holiday together in February. The hotel owners are very hospitable, caring and positive, helping with everything from the very first day of our stay. The ocean location allows you to swim from morning until sunset!
Hotel Rooms
There are 9 rooms in our hotel (4 Family rooms, 3 Triple rooms and 2 Double rooms), each room is air-conditioned and includes a private bathroom fitted with a bidet and a shower. There is free wi-fi in each room. Our rooms are furnished with stylish natural wood furniture. You will find a mini-fridge and a safety-box in the room, the spacious bathroom is supplied with toiletries and towels.
Family Room
There are 4 family rooms with balconies: 1 on the second floor, 2 on the third floor and 1 superior family room with a private outdoor terrace is located on the third floor.
Triple Room
There are 3 triple rooms in the hotel, one is located on the ground floor, another two on the second floor.
Double Room
One double room is located on the ground floor, another one on the second floor.
Rates
We are flexible in our pricing, with room rates depending on the season, the length of your stay and the type of room you choose. For example, a room for two guests with breakfast will cost €55…65, depends on the room type and season.
