A FASCINATING TOUR FILLED WITH RICH EXPERIENCE 

Dutch Fort at Galle is one of the best-preserved forts in South Asia.  It was the former main port of the country and the outpost of the Dutch East India Company in spice trade. Originally established by the Portuguese in 1588,  the Fort was completely reconstructed during Dutch rule in the 17^th century and that is why known as Dutch Fort at Galle.

During the trip to Galle-Fort we will also visit:

Cinnamon Island  to see the production of the Queen of spices – the famous Ceylon cinnamon.  We will be sailing to the island on a boat equipped with an awning for protection against the sun. On the way to the island you can enjoy fish-massage if you wish and get unforgettable impressions while exploring the unique mangroves

Moonstone Mine, where the most beautiful blue moonstones are mined. The moonstone is famous for its positive effects, for example, it brings good fortune in finding love. It is believed that single girls should always wear moonstone jewelry, because it will definitely attract attention of potential grooms.  You will see the mining process and will be able to go down the shaft, if you like.

Turtle Hatchery where we can see main types of turtles that live in the Indian Ocean. The Hatchery staff looks after injured turtles found in the ocean and also ensures safe conditions for baby turtles to grow up enough to be released into the ocean. We will see turtle “kindergarten” and can take a picture with a huge ocean turtle or with newborn turtles.

The tour starts at around 9 am, we return to your hotel by about 8 pm (the day before the tour we will let you know the pick-up time from your hotel). We arrange tours with departure from the hotels located on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka, in the cities of Wadduwa, Waskaduwa, Kalutara, Panadura, Beruwala, Aluthgama, Bentota.

Tour price  

Tour price depends on the number of participants. For example, if 2 persons participate the tour price would be  75,00 € for 1 person. Price for 1 child aged less than 12 is 30,00 €.

The price includes:

• Transfer by A/C car or minivan;
• Entrance tickets to the sights specified in the tour program;

Not included:

• Entrance tickets and transfer if you wish to visit the places outside the tour program;
• Meals, drinks and your private expenses.

The advance payment 20 eur per 1 person will guarantee your reservation of the tour.

Upon receipt of the advance payment we will send  the order confirmation to your e-mail. While making the reservation, please specify in the field “Additional Notes” the number of participants, tour date, phone number of the contact person and other information you consider essential. The rest amount you can pay before the tour starts by cash (we accept Sri Lankan rupees, US dollars or EURO). If you wish to pay for all the  trip by credit card, just let us know about that and we will send you all necessary information for the payment.
